With over thirty years in the construction industry,
Dale Olson, has both experience with new construction and an intimate understanding of older homes. He has experience as a licensed master electrician and holds a bachelors degree in electrical engineering. Dale is an experienced general contractor, focusing primarily on the renovation of vintage properties, and he happily share his expertise with the community as a member of the board of directors and the construction committee of Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County.

ThoroSpec founder and principal, Hollis Brown, VCHI, is a 35-year veteran of the metropolitan area home building & home inspection industry with experience in construction management and design/build remodeling. He attended Indiana State University and studied architecture and construction management. Hollis holds the VCHI designation of the VA Board for Lead, Asbestos & Home Inspection. As the head instructor at the prestigious
Home Inspector Training Academy, Hollis has trained hundreds of home inspectors throughout the U.S. He is a long-time member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), and proudly upholds the ASHI Standard of Practice and Code of Ethics.

A life-long resident of the metropolitan area, Tony Toth, is a 19-year veteran of the Northern VA real estate/home building industry. He came to the industry as a technical graduate in Aviation Technology from Wilson Technological School in Deer Park, Long Island. He has been trained and licensed as a Residential Real Estate Appraiser and a Class A Building Contractor. Tony has completed hundreds of residential appraisals for conventional and government backed loans and built approximately 150 new homes. Tony's background gives him a strong technical understanding of the systems and components of your home, and he understands the valuation and loan processes a homeowner is involved in when purchasing a new home.
